Detergent Product Form
Sheet Laundry Detergent
A sheet laundry detergent is a form of detergent that is used as an alternative to traditional liquid or powder detergents. It is a thin sheet of solid material, usually made from biodegradable materials such as plant-based oils and surfactants, that dissolves in water when dissolved in the wash cycle. It is designed to be more convenient to use as it is easier to handle and store.
Detergent Pods
Detergent pods are a convenient form of laundry detergent that contains water-soluble packets of concentrated liquid or powder detergents. The small packets (or “pods”) dissolve in the wash cycle, delivering the necessary cleaning power without having to measure out and add separate liquids or powders.
Laundry Liquid
Laundry liquid is a form of detergent that is composed of water, surfactants, and other ingredients that aid in cleaning clothes. It usually comes in plastic containers or bottles and can be poured directly into the washing machine. TY Cosmetic Liquid detergent has a longer shelf life than powder detergent and does not require as much measuring.
Laundry Soap
This form of detergent is composed of natural soap, such as vegetable oil-based soaps, that can be used to clean clothes. It is usually sold in bars and needs to be dissolved in a bucket of hot water before it can be added to the washing machine. Laundry soap is less expensive than other forms of detergent but also has a shorter shelf life.
Detergent Formulas
Hypoallergenic laundry detergent is usually formulated with fewer ingredients such as Sodium Polyacrylate, Disodium Diaminotilbene Disulfonate, Methyylisthiazolinone, Alcohol Ethoxysulfates, and others. These products are meant to be gentle on the skin and provide a safe cleaning option for those with sensitive skin or allergies.
Detergent for Wool
Detergents for wool are usually formulated using milder ingredients such as Sodium Laureth Sulphate and Glycerine which are gentler on wool. This kind of detergent is necessary to protect the delicate fibers of wool garments, blankets, and other items. At TY Cosmetic, we take extra care to ensure our detergent for wool is free of harsh chemicals that can damage delicate fabrics.
Detergent for Silk
Detergents for silk are usually formulated with gentle ingredients such as Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and Cetrimonium Chloride. These milder ingredients help to protect delicate silk fibers from damage during the washing process and keep the fabric looking smooth and bright.
Newborn Laundry Detergent
Newborn laundry detergent is formulated specifically for newborns and infants. It is usually composed of ingredients such as Lactic Acid and Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate which help to protect the skin from irritation or rashes caused by detergents. The formula is also gentle enough for use on delicate baby clothes.
Types of Detergent
Dish Washer Detergent
Dishwasher Detergent is a degreasing kitchen appliance cleaner that has the ability to remove tough stains from glassware and cutlery. It also prevents fruit flies and prevents glasses from fogging up. Dishwasher detergent can be used on all types of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other household items.
Clothes Detergent
Clothes Detergent is the best way to clean your clothes. It removes dirt, stains, and odors from any type of clothing. It also reduces the amount of water needed in the cleaning process, which can save you money on energy bills. TY Cosmetic clothes detergent is a great product that can help you to get out even the toughest stains.
Bleach Detergent
Bleach Detergent is a cleaning agent that can whiten, brighten and remove stains. Bleach works by oxidizing the color molecules of an object to turn them into a colorless state. This helps lighten fabrics, especially those that have been dyed with dark colors such as blue, red, or purple.
How Laundry Detergent Works
Step #1 Penetrating the Fabric
The first step of the laundry detergent process is to penetrate the fabric. This is done by using surfactants which are molecules that help break down and loosen dirt, stains, and oils from the fabric.
Step #2 Emulsification
The second step in the detergent process is emulsification, which allows water and oil-based soils to mix together and become suspended in the water. This helps to reduce the amount of time needed to clean clothes and makes sure streaks and residue are not left behind.
Step #3 Suspension
The third step of the detergent process is suspension, which is when dirt particles are kept from re-depositing onto fabrics. Suspension agents help to keep dirt and oils from sticking to the fabric and make sure they are completely removed during the wash cycle.
Step #4 Rinsing
The fourth step of the detergent process is rinsing. This is when water is used to rinse away any remaining soap or dirt particles, making sure that all traces of the detergent are gone. This helps to protect fabrics from damage and keeps them looking fresh and clean. At TY Cosmetic, we strive to bring you the best laundry detergent possible.
Consideration When Buying Detergents
Detergent Type
When choosing a detergent, one of the first things to consider is the type of detergent you need. There are two main types of laundry detergent: liquid and powder. Liquid detergent is typically more expensive than powder, but it can be easier to use and is less likely to leave behind residue. Powder detergent, on the other hand, is usually less expensive and can be more effective at removing tough stains.
Scent
Another thing to consider when choosing a detergent is the scent. Some people prefer unscented detergents, while others like their laundry to smell fresh and clean. There are a variety of scents available, so it should be easy to find one that you like.
Formulation
When choosing a detergent, you will also need to consider the formulation. The most common formulations are HE (high efficiency) and standard. HE detergents are designed for use in high-efficiency washing machines and can be more expensive than standard detergents. Standard detergents, on the other hand, can be used in any type of washing machine.
Ingredients
When choosing a detergent, you will also need to consider the ingredients. Some people prefer natural or organic ingredients, while others prefer synthetic ingredients. It is important to read the ingredient labels carefully to make sure you are getting what you want. At TY Cosmetic, we are one of the trusted detergent manufacturers that offers a variety of different formulations and ingredients to meet your business needs.
